COVID-19- KCS established a Hotline to request help
Dear community members,
First and foremost, we are so happy to see everyone is cooperating with state lockdown. At this time the COVID-19 virus spread is at the peak and we encourage everyone to obey the state and national guidlines. I'm sure everyone knows this, but just to reiterate; leave the safety of your home only for important tasks!
KCS Chicago also thank all healthcare workers and other essential service workers who are tirelessly working to get us out of this pandemic. Their efforts are much appreciated.
An emergency KCS Board of Directors meeting was called and the meeting evaluated the current situation and decided to do what we can possibly do to help the community. KCS established a hotline number for you to call for your emergencies. The meeting observed that the senior citizens (65 and older) or someone who has underlying conditions are the most vulnerable ones and decided to offer help to them through the hot line. Such people can request help through this hotline to make a run for groceries, pick up a prescription and any other necessities, etc.
We remind you to call 911 for all your medical emergencies. For all your other needs please call (773) 377-5276.
Since lots of our community members are involved in various small businesses and our highest priority is to keep our family safe, a link is attached below if you would be in need of help.
Please spend some time going through the website and find the help you need. Whether if it’s business or family, this would definitely help.
We wish you the best and while looking forward, we pray everyone to come out of this quarantine time safe and healthy!
Let us all pray to God to get us out of this difficult times.
